Wearable Art
8:30AM – 12:30PM (Ages 8-10)
Custom-designs on clothing accessories, jewelry and buttons will be created by students. Guest Artists offer a variety of techniques. Some supplies required.

Drawing, Painting & Pottery
1:00PM – 5:00PM (Ages 8-10)
Pottery with hand-building and wheel-throwing is explored for 2 hours and drawing and painting with a variety of media for 2 hours. All supplies included.

WEEK 2
July 3, 5-7
ADULT & TEEN WEEK

Pottery
8:30AM – 12:30PM (Ages 14 & up)
1PM – 5PM (Ages 11 - 13)
5PM – 9PM (Adults)
This 4-day week will allow beginning and intermediate students intensive studio time in wheel-throwing and hand-building with earthen clay. All supplies included.

Art Around the World
8:30AM – 12:30PM (rising 2nd grade - 8)
Explore Art, Dance, and Music from a variety of cultures through mask-making, pottery, drawing and more. All supplies included.

1PM – 5PM (rising 2nd grade - 8)
Pottery with hand-building and wheel-throwing is explored for 2 hours and drawing and painting with a variety of media for 2 hours. All supplies included.

Green Art

Sculpture, jewelry, paintings and collage can all have a second life. Students will learn the value of a found object while making art that keeps the planet greener. All supplies included.

1PM - 5PM (Ages 8-10)
Pottery with hand-building and wheel-throwing is explored for 2 hours and drawing and painting with a variety of media for 2 hours. All supplies included.

WEEK 6
July
31– August 5
A Fine Line
8:30AM -12:30PM (Ages 10-13)
Fine Art and Fine Craft blend color, value, line, shape, form, texture and space. Students will refine their skills in drawing, painting and sculpture with a variety of media. All supplies included.

WEEK 7
August 7– August 11

Art in Nature, Nature in Art
8:30AM – 12:30PM (Ages 8-10)
Students will use visual art and movement in this two-instructor class of art and dance, with the beautiful outside in mind.

WEEK 8
August 14– August 11

Green Art
8:30AM – 12:30PM (rising 2nd grade – 8)

Camp FEES*
$120 per class per week.
$240 for all day
Please inquire about discounts for multiple all day weeks, or siblings attending all day weeks together.
Class size is limited for all camps. Pre-registration required. Scholarships may be available.

Camp Information
Camps are held in the Cultural Arts Center,
200 N. Davie Street, in downtown Greensboro.

Camp instructors are all trained artists.

Campers should bring a snack. Full day campers should bring a bag lunch for supervised lunchtime.
